Ezekiel 32 Commentary
by Brad Boyles
There is really not much to say here other than what has been said over and over again over the last several chapters. The plain and simple truth is that God will judge righteously. Earlier in Ezekiel, we commented on how God was using the Gentile nations to punish and discipline His people. Here, we are reminded that He will also judge those Gentiles nations according to their deeds.
It is easy to get overwhelmed in the days that we live. We look around and it seems as if God is not dealing out justice as He did back then. However, I believe it takes faith to move forward trusting that God will indeed make everything right in the end. There are many ways in which His sovereignty is over the details which we cannot comprehend. The reminders here are that He will follow through with what He has said all along. Those under the covenant of Jesus Christ will find glory and those who reject Him will suffer incomprehensible justice.
Magnificently stated are the two commentary. I for one yearn for the weapons to be beaten into plow shears and all the deception begins being ridden.
